Greetings Mustang Family,
The purpose of
this parent letter is to share information and ideas with you all; we also
think it’s important for us to come together in support of our children as they
are doing positive things.
1.
We
have started putting together a google blog on which we will share information
about
upcoming events,
pictures,
a roster,
and a
calendar. The link is flwmustangs1.blogspot.com. You
will also be able to share this page with family and friends.
2.
A
hard copy of the calendar is attached, but you can find an electronic copy at flwmustangs1.blogspot.com.
Clicking
on + Google Calendar will enlarge the view.
3.
Is
your baller participating in other activities? Please let us know so that we
can add these events to the calendar and come out to support our fellow
Mustangs.
4.
As
you see on the calendar, we have a lot of July and August Birthdays. Would you
be interested in having a combined celebration? If so, let us know at flwmustangs1@gmail.com.
5.
We
are in the process of setting up a GoFundMe page for the Mustangs. We ask for
your support in sharing this site with your family and friends.
6.
If
you have pictures that you would like to have on the team page, please send

7.
If
your child will not be at practice, please inform Coach or Terra.

May 30-31 in Branson, MO –
We will split the cost of this tournament evenly. It is $175 for a 4 game
guarantee. Please pay $17.50 to Terra no
later than 22 May. A group rate
reservation for Quality Inn is available at $79.95 a night on the 30th for two queen beds. A rollaway is available for an additional $10 a night. Please call 417-334-1194 to reserve your room. Your room will be held until May 28 under my name (Terra McAllister). After that date, the hotel will cancel the hold.
While we are
in Branson, we will also enjoy the area. Please let me know if you are
interested in participating in Dixie Stampede May 30 @ 2000. $43 for adults and children
over 12 years old and $24.50 for children under 12. If you are not interested
in this activity but have other suggestions, we can explore other options and
check out group rates.

Fundraising
Ideas: Traveling
sports can get costly. Are you interested in doing fundraisers? If so, we have
the following ideas pending action:

Discount Retail Store Cards
4. Raffles
I know some of
you shared suggestions about fundraising ideas. Please feel free to organize it
and tell us, other parents, how we can help. Even though we are all very busy,
TOGETHER we can make this happen! If everyone does a little bit, no one will
have to do too much. Let's keep open lines of communication and work together
to make this experience fun for everyone involved. Thank you parents for all
you do.
